Refurbished Cottage in AmblesideI recently had the pleasure of staying at a newly refurbished cottage in the heart of Ambleside, and I found it to be a delightful experience. the property was exceptionally clean and well-equipped, featuring a good-sized kitchen and a comfortable sitting area. With two modern shower rooms and fast Wi-Fi, it effectively catered to our needs during a short getaway. The location was central, providing easy access to local amenities, including a Tesco Express just a few minutes away, along with an abundance of coffee shops and restaurants. Despite being in the bustling town center, the street was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful retreat. One notable feature was the thoughtful hospitality from the hosts, who provided biscuits and a bottle of wine upon arrival—an unexpected but welcome touch. While parking was a challenge, the cottage came with a parking ticket for off-site options, adding a layer of convenience.
